apartment is located just 3 minutes walking from the Kremlin and
Red Square – the historical core of Moscow. Tverskaya street,
which is the main street in Moscow featuring the city’s best
shops, clubs, and cafes is within a moment’s reach, and you
can enjoy the relaxed promenade pace of Kamergersky lane, where
your apartment is situated. Moreover, you have everything that
5-star hotel could offer within less than a minute walk from your
apartment: more than a dozen restaurants for any budget (many opened
24 hours), good cafes, nightclubs, bank and ATM, shops.
Restaurants & Cafes
The quiet pedestrian Kamergersky lane, where the apartment is located,
is full of good restaurants, cafes, and summer terraces. Within
just 1 minute walk from your apartment you will find a quality
health-food breakfast cafe Prime, “Zen” and Coffee
Inn cafes, a French, Russian, Tibetan and Chinese cuisine restaurants.
A good option for late-night goers is the Japanese Ginnotaki restaurant
just around the corner from your apartment (opened 24 hours), Drova
restaurant (full buffet for $12, 24 hours), and Proekt OGI – a
great and very inexpensive cafe/restaurant with a bookshop (opened
24 hours).
Shops & Services
There’s a grocery store downstairs, as well as a bigger 24-hour
supermarket about 5 minutes by taxi from the apartment. A large
bookstore opened until 3 am every day offers lots of English-language
titles, and is within a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The famous
Manezh trading center housing myriads of shops and restaurants
is just 3 minutes walk away. There are also two internet cafes
around (one is opened 24 hours), if you don’t have your own
notebook to use the free connection at the apartment.
Just opposite the apartment there’s a bank office and an
ATM (opened 24 hours). Two pharmacies are located just around the
corner.
Entertainment
Tverskaya is the main street of Moscow, so it is full of mainstream
clubs and chill-out cafes. Among the best are the Bunker club (dance
and live music) on Tverskaya (about 7 minutes walk), Territoria
(dance and electronic music) in about 3 minutes walk, Night Flight
(men’s club), Krasnaya Shapochka (women’s club), Garage
(Pushkinskaya square – 10 minutes walk). There are also lots
of good cafes around, the best ones to meet people are Prime cafe
(popular among foreigners), OGI (intellectuals’ hangout),
and Jagannath (vegetarian food), all within 5 minutes walk from
the apartment.
